Optional referral tracking
Fine Erotica offers optional referral tracking so an approved partner may receive commission when you buy. You can shop, sign in and access purchases without agreeing. Referral tracking consent is separate from the adults-only entry warning and from an affiliate’s program approval.
Your choice
On a referral page, choose ‘Allow referral tracking’ or ‘Continue without tracking’. We do not save an affiliate tracking cookie or record an affiliate click until you choose to allow it. Continuing to browse, accepting general terms, or confirming that you are an adult is not treated as referral-tracking consent.
What is stored
If you allow tracking, we store a signed first-party cookie named __Host-fe-referral with an opaque visitor identifier and expiry. It lasts up to 30 days from the latest accepted eligible referral. The cookie does not contain your name, email, film choices, order number or payout details. We record the consent notice version, consent time, eligible referral and click time on our server. This data is pseudonymous, not claimed to be anonymous.
What happens when you order
For an eligible order, we associate the last eligible referral with that order and calculate commission from verified payment and order accounting. We retain the association and financial adjustments needed to explain the commission. Approved affiliates receive their own aggregate balances and payout states, not your identity, email, film choices or payment details.
What we do not use for this feature
This affiliate feature does not use third-party advertising pixels, device fingerprinting or a localStorage tracking fallback. We do not send buyer-level referral or film-purchase lists to an external affiliate network. Operational hosting, database and payment services still process information needed to provide their respective services.
Withdrawing consent
Use ‘Referral preferences’ to withdraw tracking as easily as allowing it. We clear the referral cookie and revoke its server-side visitor record so it cannot attribute a new order, including if an old cookie is replayed. Withdrawal remains available when the program is paused. It does not silently rewrite an order association already fixed before withdrawal or accounting records that must be retained for completed transactions.
Retention and access
Expired referral clicks not linked to orders, and orphan visitor records, are removed after 30 days through a daily cleanup. Linked consent evidence and commission, adjustment, approval and payout records are retained where necessary for applicable accounting requirements or a documented dispute. Withdrawal of tracking consent does not by itself erase those records. Application access is restricted: customers cannot approve affiliates or alter balances, and affiliates cannot view other affiliates’ records or customer purchase lists.
Affiliate applicants
If you apply, we use your existing account identifier, application and approval status, terms acceptance version, referral code and commission/payout records to administer the program. Payout-recipient details and required tax documents are handled privately before a manual payout. We do not ask for wallet recovery phrases or banking passwords.
Privacy questions
Contact info@fine-erotica.com to ask about referral data, withdraw consent, or request access, correction or another applicable privacy right. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing account-related information. Requests are assessed under applicable law, including any legal requirement to retain transaction records.
